Adams Rehmann & Heggan (ARH) is an award winning consulting design firm providing a broad range of professional engineering, surveying, planning and GIS services throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. Headquartered in Hammonton, NJ, and ideally situated between New York, Philadelphia, Wilmington and Atlantic City, the firm traces its origins to the 1930's, and then in 1974 with the merger of two engineering and land surveying companies. Today, ARH employs approximately 75 employees in our New Jersey offices, with more than 30 percent of the staff having obtained professional licenses and advanced degrees in their individual areas of expertise. The strengths of ARH stem from our broad spectrum of expertise and experience. Through the utilization and coordination of our multi-disciplined workforce, we have the capability to design, coordinate and administer a variety of engineering projects from conception through completion.

ARH Project Team Concept
ARH stands committed to the project team concept. Open, transparent communication between different disciplines is vital to the success of a project, and a critical component of best management practices. ARH relies on the proven tradition of integrated project teams – a mechanism whereby owners consult with architects, construction managers, and design professionals during the concept development of a project, and formulate by means of integrated team efforts, a strategy geared at reducing costs, limiting risk, and increasing success. New approaches to project work-flow can be developed to reshape the way sites are conceived, designed, approved and ultimately constructed. The end result allows project team members to better realize their highest potentials, while expanding the value of their work throughout the project lifecycle.
It has long been the goal of ARH to provide development services in-house in order to retain ultimate control of the quality and schedule of a project. On certain projects, however, we believe it necessary to supplement our staff in some of the more highly specialized areas specifically traffic engineering and transportation planning. We feel this blending of specialized talent into one cohesive team is the most efficient, responsive, and economical way to address a multitude of design concerns, and secure construction approvals.
ARH is continually dedicated to maintaining and improving our natural environment. Conscience of green building applications and technologies, we work closely with owners and architects to maximize the USGBC’s LEED green building rating and point system.
